Samsung has recently announced its Exynos 9 series processor in CES 2018. The Exynos 8895 which is launched last year was also Exynos 9 series, although it contains 8895 numbering. The 8895 was the prime part of Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ series and this year as well Samsung has just unveiled it on time. Samsung Exynos 9810 chipset is expected to be used in upcoming Galaxy S9 & S9+ flagship phone for the Global variant. However, they will serve Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 for the US audience.
What is Exynos 9810?
Well, its latest Samsung Exynos processor for mobile phone builds under the Samsung 2nd generation 10nm FinFET manufacturing process. It has 3rd generation Octa-Core processor, 4 cores of Exynos M3 which are clocked at 2.9 GHz and 4 Cores of Cortex A55 clocked at 1.9GHz. Apart from 8 cores, it also has L3 DSU which will bring major impact on performance while accessing heavy memory units. This chipset will support Mali G72MP18 GPU. We have seen many leaks that Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be just an updated S8 but that not going to be the case. Samsung is working really hard make S9 & S9+ to best mobile devices whether its design, camera or processing. Samsung is going to make it provide the major uplift in every area.
